Erin Feeley has been installed as president of the Sunrise Vista Kiwanis Club. She had previously served for two years as club secretary. Her theme for the 2025-26 year, which started Oct. 1, is “All in for Service.”
Erin is the superintendent of the Bella Mente Montessori Academy.
Nancy Speaks is club secretary and David Sherman is treasurer.
The club has a nine-member board of directors.
Chartered in 1973, the 50-member Kiwanis club is known in the community for its encouragement of childhood literacy. The club also distributes scholarships to high school seniors, works closely with the Vista Boys and Girls Club and hosts a charity golf tournament each August.

The Sunrise Vista Kiwanis Club was recognized June 7 as having achieved "Distinguished Club" status by Kiwanis International for the 2023-24 administrative year. Division 37 Lieutenant Governor Craig Adams presented a banner patch and special officer pins to current club President Steve Dreyer during the division's monthly meeting. Sunrise Vista was the only North County club receiving the recognition. The pins will be presented to Immediate Past President Nancy Speaks and Secretary Erin Feeley.
